Ko Hyang – Korean food at Mid Valley
In the peace evening last Saturday, I was browsing internet while my wife was watching television. Her favorite show on that day is ‘Delicious Food All over China’ that showed at TV8 every Satuday, 3 pm. This show will explain the best food around China, even there was one chapter that showed food at Jakarta, my hometown :p
Bul Go Gi
Last week’s show was showing delicious food around Korea, especially ginseng that can be made for wine, herbal drink even sweets. After watched the show, she announced that she wants to eat Korean food, Korean food at Mid Valley exactly. So there we went to Mid Valley at Saturday night. No taxi available when we tried to order by phone, so we went to in front of Apartment to find one. As predicted, the road to Mid Valley was jammed, but we reached there at 6 pm, right time for dinner.
We went to Ko Hyang, small Korean stall in front of Cold Storage – The Garden and ordered Jab Che (Fried glass noodle with vegetable) priced RM 14.9, Bul Go Gi (Beef cooked with vegetable + rice) priced RM 16.9, Kim Chi Pancake (pancake tasted like Kim Chi) priced RM 9.5. While for drink, we ordered Hot Sik Hye (Korea Barley) priced RM 3.6 and Hot Peach Tea priced RM 3.

Good Evening Bangkok Thai Restaurant
Saturday and Sunday are free days for my wife, usually she doesn’t cook on these days and most of the time she can decided what to eat for lunch or dinner. Like last Sunday, we went to 1Utama to watch Monsters vs Aliens at GSC. We reached 1Utama at 1 pm while the movie started at 2.30 pm. So we decided to go for lunch first. Initially, she said I can choose where for lunch and I decided to go to Canton-I for noodles. But on the way to Canton-I, she spotted Good Evening Bangkok Thai restaurant, and with her skill to manipulate me, we walked there instead to Canton-I lol… For me its ok also, because long time we haven’t eat bangkok food since we eat at Somboon Thailand Restaurant last time.
After browsed for the menu, we decided to choose Tom Yam Poh Teak (Tom yam seafood with clear soup), Pandan Chicken (6 pcs), 2 steamed Thai Jasmine Rice (refillable) and for drinks we ordered Mango Juice and Water Chesnut in Coconut Milk.
Mango juice came first, but it didn’t taste from fresh mango, I guess it was from syrup. Then Water Chesnut in Coconut Milk came in small bowl topped with shredded Jackfruit, tasted a little bit too sweet for me, but after the ice melted, it became acceptable.
Tom Yam Poh Teak and Pandan Chicken came in short interval after drinks, then they served rice using big bowl and scooped the rice for us (I felt like a king :p) . The soup came in small bowl, but I can saw lot of fillings like fish, shrimps, mushroom, and cuttlefish. It tasted sour and spicy, very refreshing.

Actor Kung Fu Kwai Chang Caine – David Carradine Found Dead in Thai
David Carradine
David Carradine, who play as Shaolin priest in the “Kung Fu” tv series found dead at Thursday in Thailand. It just a tragic that David Carradine (72 year old ) appeared to have suicide by hanged himself at luxury suite in Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel.
“I can confirm that we found his body, naked, hanging in the closet,”
Lt. Teerapop Luanseng said. He is the officer who responsible for investigating the death of Carradine.
I my self still can not believe that David Carradine has commit suicide. Actually Carradine had flown to Thailand to began work on “Stretch” two days before his death. He had several other projects lined up after the action film, which was being directed by Charles De Meaux with Carradine in the lead. So why he want to suicide? With all work that he can do in this life?
Many people who around him can not believe if he kill him self. I just can said i was really sad to by this news. May you rest in peace David…
