iPad 2 Launched March 2011 in US and Other Countries
Apple has introduced iPad 2 last Wednesday 2nd of March 2011. Apple’s latest series tablet production that will go on sale in the United States on March 11 next Friday and in 26 other countries began March 25.
Some of the main advantages that we can see are iPad 2 definitely thinner than the previous iPad and even thinner than iPhone 4 , two times faster than previous iPad. iPad 2 also comes with build in camera front and back and now you can choose your color now which are black or white color, and the best thing, its same price as the previous iPad.

But, here are the consequence of the launch of the iPad 2, the price will fall for iPad previous series. I can see now the lowest spec of Ipad 16Gb with wifi where previously has price tag of RM 1599, its become RM 1199. Its RM 300 lower. In the US also, the 499 U.S. dollar iPad, is now down 100 dollars to 399 U.S. dollars. This price is not cheap, but at I believe there are many peoples happy with its reduction.
While IPAD 2 was launched, in fact Apple has also planned launch of the iPad 3. Predicted iPad 3 will be launched this fall in September, its only 6 months from now.

Lenovo’s Skylight Smartbook
Lenovo showed off its new Skylight smartbook during the CES Unveiled pre-show teaser event. First impression count for a lot, and it is the freshest looking product. It’s extremely thin, with funky rounded edges and a 10in 1,280 x 720 screen, and it weighs just under 1kg.

Instead, Lenovo has opted for a 1Ghz Qualcomm SnapDragon processor based on low-power ARM technology, which stretches battery life to around 10 hours.

PhD Scholarship in International Business Australian National University
Applications are invited for a full-time PhD scholarship in the School of Management, Marketing and International Business funded by a grant under the Linkage Scheme of the Australian Research Council.
The project aims to understand the factors that impacted on the investment decisions of European companies in Australia and of Australian companies in Europe through firm-level surveys. Some of those factors are the international experience of firms, their core competencies, their asessment of opportunities and risk in the foreign business environment, as well as the ways in which they accommodated and mitigated elements of perceived risk through the choice of location, entry mode, local partners etc.

The student involved in the project will develop skills in implementing and developing surveys and analysing the results of the surveys using both qualitative and quantitiative techniques.

Facebook Breach Exposes World’s Most Popular Passwords
An investigation analysing 32 million password has revealed that the world’s most popular passwords can be easily cracked by hackers using automated attacks. The investigation, by security firm Imperva, came about after RockYou, one of the world’s largest application developers on Facebook, was hacked.
Imperva said that nearly 50% of the 32 million passwords studies were names, slang words, dictionary words or sequences such as consecutive digits or adjacent keyboard keys. Incredibility, the most common password is ’123456′.
The remainder of the top 10 passwords used by RockYou subscribers include ’12345′, ’123456789′, ‘Password’, ‘iloveyou’, ‘princess’, ‘rockyou’, ’1234567′, ’12345678′, and ‘abc123′. The firm said the simplicity of these password makes users who choose a simple string of characters “susceptible to basic forms of cyberattacks known as brute force attack”.
