Let me introduce myself. I am Guesh Zeru from Ethiopia. I am 32 years old. I had a B.Sc degree in applied geology and a graduate of Master degree in hydrogeology both from Mekelle University (Ethiopia) in 2007. My master’s thesis is on the Title of Groundwater modelling (both transient and steady groundwater flow /2D and 3D visualization/, vertically 20 layer model using Numerical finite difference method). This was to evaluate the potential of the basin and to set the optimum abstraction rate from the well field, and I have CGPA 3.84. I am well familiar with groundwater modelling, and I do have sound knowledge on MODFLOW & 3D master program, ArcView & ArcGIS, Groundwater MODELLING (Modflow&3D), Surfer8, Globalmapper,Geophisics (IPI2&winresist), Aquitest (for pumping test analyses), Aquakame (for water chemistry analysis), ILWIS all extensions and I have around 7 years of experience in field of hydrogeology /Investigation of groundwater potentials, identifying well fields, Evaluation of potentials of well fields using modelling for urban water supply & for Irrigation and drilling supervisions. By now I am working In DEBREMARKOS UNIVERSITY (ETHIOPIA) as full time lecturer and I give the course of hydrology, geology and Remotsensing&GIS. Now I am looking for a PhD degree and I am highly interested to do my PhD on the field of (hydrology/hydrogeology fields, groundwater MODELING (flow and Transport), surface water & groundwater interaction through modelling and geochemical tracers). this is not only for water managment but also contributing solutions for the global enviromental issus Co2 emission wastwater disposal. So, please consider me on the position you have or help me please I am able to work hard, I am flexible, opened minded and eager to learn to do something new challenges. I think it would be a perfect start of my career. I hop that the above experience, knowledge and skill make me convenient for filling your scholarship PhD position.
Hoping to hear the best, I remain.
With best regard
Thank you very much.
